Here's what happened: On August 11, 2024, the son was called to his father's home, where he was beaten with a sjambok on his back, hands, and head, resulting in visible injuries. 🏠⚠️ The father has now been sentenced to a fine of R4 000 or eight months' imprisonment, suspended for five years. This means he won't actually go to prison unless he reoffends during this period. 💸⏳ Here’s what happened.: After his father beat him up, the teenager told his grandmother, who supported him in reporting the incident to the Mafube SAPS.
