INFO:
It's one thing to say that Georgia is a great state for business, but we also have to be a great state for the people who work in those businesses. And since 68% of resident in the 56—East Cobb, Roswell, and Woodstock—come from out of state, we need to think about how competitive Georgia is when attracting transplants. If you put yourself in the position of an LGBTQ person—who lacks basic civil-rights protections for healthcare, family law, and in workplace—would you move here? If you put yourself in the position of a woman who isn't ready to start a family yet—while Georgia has a six week abortion ban without exception for rape, incest, or the life of the mother—would you move here? If you put yourself in the position of a parent just trying to raise a family in good schools—and those schools aren't allowed to teach topics important to American history and they're not allowed to circulate books some kids might benefit from reading—would you move here?
